The Institut de NeuroPhysiopathologie combines fundamental and translational Research to study the organization, function and interaction of neural cells, the molecular and cellular bases of the main brain diseases, and to develop innovative cellular and molecular therapy strategies.
The Institute is a Joint Research Unit under the auspices of the CNRS and Aix-Marseille Université.
INP is organized around 11 research teams:
- Neural Plasticity and Degeneration
- BBB (blood-brain barrier) and Neuroinflammation
- SInBioSE (nervous system, inflammation and biomarkers of multiple sclerosis)
- NeuroCyto: Neuronal cytoskeleton, functions and dysfunctions
- Molecular Interactions and Pharmacology
- NOSE. Nasal Olfactory Stemness and Epigenesis
- Synaptic degeneration and gliosis
- Aging and Pathologies of the Oligodendroglial Lineage
- Stem cells, disease modeling and neuroregeneration
- GlioME: Gliomagenesis and MicroEnvironment
- Angiogenesis and tumor microenvironment
Focus on AI/health-related research teams
