The CRPN aims to better understand the complexity of mental functions, their behavioral expressions and their biological embodiment.
The Centre de Research en Psychologie et Neurosciences is the result of the merger in January 2024 of the Laboratoire de Psychologie Cognitive and the Laboratoire de Neurosciences Cognitives. The CRPN combines detailed behavioral analysis, modeling and neurophysiological approaches. It studies the development of mental functions from birth to senescence, while comparing different species in both normal and pathological contexts.
The Centre de Research en Psychologie et Neurosciences is structured around 12 research teams:
- ATYPICS: Typical and atypical Cognition in Social Context/ Cognition Typique et Atypique en Contexte Social
- BasalGang : Cognition and pathophysiology of the basal ganglia
- BNCS
- ConTAct : Control, Timing & Action
- DePhy : Development and Phylogeny
- LaMA: Language and Music in Action
- MeMoPsy
- MULTISENSE & BODY
- ReAdapt2C
- Sense - Movement - Perception
- SyDyD: Sensory system, Decision and cerebral dynamics
- VESTIMED
