The Marseille Cancer Research Center aims to improve understanding of cancer mechanisms and develop new therapeutic approaches.
The CRCM is affiliated with Inserm, CNRS, Aix-Marseille University and the PACA regional cancer research center, the Paoli-Calmettes Institute.
The CRCM's main missions are as follows:
- Conduct cutting-edge cancer research,
- Understand the biology of cancer and how tumors interact with their host,
- Facilitate the transfer of this knowledge to clinical and technological applications,
- Train future generations of cancer researchers and clinicians.
Through its 21 research teams, CRCM acts as a continuum in cancer research, from basic to translational and clinical research.
