Research at the Centre d'Etudes et de Recherches Internationally et Communautaires focuses on public international law and EU law, taking into account societal issues.
The Center is part of the Laboratoire de Droit International, Comparé et Européen (DICE). CERIC is a multi-disciplinary research team comprising mainly public and private lawyers, and specialists in domestic, comparative, international and European law.
CERIC's research activities are closely linked to the laboratory's training activities.
In addition to the many individual projects carried out by team members, research is also carried out as part of multi-year research programs.
These collective programs revolve around five themes that are largely integrated into the UMR DICE's research areas:
- Internationally
- European law
- Environmental law
- Law, science and technology
- Maritime law and issues
Focus on IA/Health-related research teams
CERIC may be involved in the activities of the Laënnec Institute through the expertise of its members in European health law.
