The Cardiovascular and Nutrition Research Center studies cardiovascular disease and its prevention through nutrition.
By combining multiple, multi-disciplinary skills, C2VN aims to understand the processes of cardiovascular disease at a mechanistic level, leading to new therapeutic avenues and new paradigms. C2VN's national and international research programs focus on vascular biology, thrombosis, chronic kidney disease, cardiac rhythm disorders and nutritional and metabolic pathologies.
C2VN is structured around 8 research teams:
- Micronutrients and metabolic diseases
- Thrombosis, platelets and vascular pathologies
- Endothelium, circulating cells and vascular pathologies
- New endothelial molecular targets
- Pathophysiology of cardiac stress and dysfunction
- Impact of the exposome in severe chronic respiratory diseases
- Exposome, epi/genetics of cardiac development and bioinformatics
- Ion channels and interoception
Focus on research teams working in the field of AI/Health
