As part of its roadmap for transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary health research, the CNRS (via MITI) is launching a call for proposals for doctoral contracts.

In 2024, the CNRS has drawn up a roadmap for transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary health research, focusing on human health throughout life in the context of global social and environmental change.

This roadmap covers a wide range of competencies, integrating all disciplines, from fundamental research to innovation and integration into patient care. This call for proposals aims to support, through a doctoral contract, interdisciplinary initiatives aimed at :

- study or identify staff determinants (natural predispositions, genetics, behaviours, etc.), as well as environmental and social factors, which affect the evolution of health, at individual or population level

- understanding/modeling/predicting the mechanisms of physio-pathological transitions and the development of pathologies, in particular as a function of these different determinants.

Proposals may focus on the development of concepts, methods or tools, whether specific solutions for a particular pathology or more general developments.
