Call for thesis projects

Objective

This call aims to fund interdisciplinary theses in digital science and AI applied to healthcare, to attract new talent to the University of Aix-Marseille, support research and promote cooperative ventures. Joint supervision is particularly important here(practicing physicians and scientists specializing in digital science and/or AI). Interdisciplinarity can also be expressed by integrating a law/ethics/usage dimension.
Research projects must be rooted in medical issues.

No environmental funding is provided for these thesis grants under this call.

Selection and evaluation criteria

Selection is made solely on the basis of the scientific project submitted by the applicant. Once a subject has been selected for funding, a call for applications is launched.

Candidates are selected after a pre-selection of CVs by the sponsor, followed by hearings by a jury made up of supervisors, members of the institute's scientific committee and a representative of the home ED.

Research projects must be based on medical issues. Short-term valorization will be appreciated.

Point of attention

Recruitment: Projects selected for funding with recruitment will be accompanied by the institute to set up recruitment and audition candidates. For information, candidates eligible for funding must be from outside Aix-Marseille Université. Contracts will be exclusively Aix-Marseille Université contracts.
