Call for mini-RHU projects

Objective

The Institut Laënnec provides financial support for interdisciplinary research projects focusing on healthcare issues, from medical questions arising in the field and encountered in the practice of care, to the short-term development at the patient's bedside of the technical response provided (prototype, proof-of-concept clinical trial).

Mini-RHU funding is designed to support hospital-university and socio-economic project teams in the fields of digital technology, AI and healthcare, focusing on a specific medical issue.

Budget

The duration of funded projects is 24 months, with possible funding of 100,000 euros per project.

Budget envelope per project: €100k divided into: 46k€ payroll; 20k€ investment and 34k€ operating).

Please refer to the financial regulations for eligible expenses. Budgets may only be committed by units with Aix-Marseille Université as supervisor or co-supervisor. Equipment will be the property of Aix-Marseille Université. Reversal agreements are not authorized.

  • Issues arising from the field ;
  • Valuation ;
  • Interdisciplinarity;
  • Rooted in the Institute's theme;
  • Compliance with financial regulations.

Please note

Recruitment: Projects selected for funding with recruitment will be supported by the Institute to set up recruitment and audition candidates. For information, candidates eligible for funding must be from outside Aix-Marseille Université. Contracts will be exclusively Aix-Marseille Université contracts.
Finance: Please refer to the financial regulations for eligible expenses. Budgets may only be committed by units that are supervised or co-supervised by Aix-Marseille Université. Equipment will be the property of Aix-Marseille Université. Reversal agreements are not authorized.
